Airtel Rs 159 Prepaid Recharge Plan With 1GB Data Launched, The Indian global telecommunications services company Bharti Airtel today launched new recharge plan under his prepaid tariff portfolio. This plan straightly takes on Vodafone India existing Rs 159 prepaid recharge plan.
Bharti Airtel Rs 159 recharge plan comes with all three benefits of unlimited voice calls, data and SMS benefits for 21 days. Though, Bharti Airtel Rs 159 Prepaid recharge plan does not compete Vodafone India existing plan in terms of data and plan validity.
Vodafone Rs 159 prepaid recharge plan comes with total 28GB data for 28 days whereas Airtel plan comes with total 21GB data for 21 days. However Reliance Jio is offering better benefits under his Rs 149 prepaid plan.
Like Reliance Jio, Airtel is not limiting voice calling to its users. Even, Airtel removed voice calling limit on its network and all the prepaid plans now come with unlimited voice calling benefit. But Vodafone is still limiting the voice calls for its users to 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week.
Airtel Rs 159 Prepaid Recharge Plan Details –
The Rs 159 Recharge plan from Airtel offers a user 1GB of 4G/3G/2G data along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for a period of 21 days. Moreover, the data benefit with this plan differs slightly with users as some Airtel prepaid users are getting 1GB data per day.
But the validity of the plan is the same as 21 days for every user. For example, if you’re using your Airtel number as a temporary one, Airtel will give the plan with 1GB daily data, and if you’re using your Airtel number as a primary one, then the data benefit is 1GB for the entire 21 days. However, Airtel is doing the same with its Rs 149 recharge.
Few days ago, Airtel Announced its partnership with online entertainment service. Netflix, As the part of the same, Airtel started offering free Netflix subscription to its users on postpaid plans priced above Rs 499. Airtel’s myPlan Infinity Postpaid plans start at Rs 399 but Airtel is not offering Netflix free subscription with the base plan.
Besides the Rs 399 postpaid plan, Airtel has other postpaid plans such as Rs 499, Rs 649, Rs 799, Rs 1,199, Rs 1,599, Rs 1,999 and Rs 2,999. All these postpaid plans are eligible for Netflix subscription worth Rs 1,500 for three months.
Though, Airtel is giving this offer to both the new and existing Netflix customers. New Netflix customers will get three months of Netflix Basic plan, while the existing Netflix customers will receive a credit worth Rs 1,500 into their Netflix account and the current plan will continue as it is.
The Netflix Basic plan allows a user to watch content on one screen at a time and they can watch the entire content on Netflix’s portfolio. if an Airtel postpaid user changes the plan to Rs 399 or any other plan, then the Netflix subscription will be put on hold immediately.
