On Monday, Amazon India announced that it has joined hands with Indian Performing Right Society (IPRS) for streaming its free music service, Amazon Prime Music. As they have done a deal, now Amazon Prime Music got access in India to more than a million tracks which can spread across in different languages, eras, and genres of Indian music.
Amazon Prime Music ties up with IPRS for more than one million Indian tracks
Indian Performing Right Society (IPRS) has approved the license in India to use the musical works and literary music in India. It has royalties from the users of its member. It has composers, Publishers, authors, and distributors of the music. As per IPRS, the deal of Amazon Prime Music and IPRS is one of the biggest of its nature in digital content in India.
In this month, first Amazon launched its online music streaming service in India. This service is available only for Amazon Prime Member and the price is Rs. 999 per year. Now, the music service of Amazon is free of ads and has different category of regional content with different languages like Hindi, Tamil, Punjabi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

This entry of Amazon will disrupt all the streaming segment, especially those who are with Prime account. The prime members can access the video service as well as gain lots of benefits when you buy some things from the website of Amazon.
At present, Amazon Music is available for iOS and Android devices. It is also available for Amazon Fire TV and Echo devices.
