Asus Zenfone Max M1 and Zenfone Lite L1 Launched

Asus Zenfone Max M1 and Zenfone Lite L1 Launched, The Taiwanese multinational computer and phone hardware and electronics company AsusTek Computer Inc. launched two new smartphones named Asus Zenfone Max M1 and the Asus Zenfone Lite L1 in the country.

Both the smartphones comes with bigger batteries and Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset. The Asus Zenfone Max M1 comes with a 4000mAh battery and the Zenfone Lite L1 has a 3000mAh battery. Also,Both the smartphones comes under Rs 10,000, Zenfone Max M1 is priced at Rs 8,999 and takes on the like of Xiaomi Redmi 6A.

Whereas Asus Zenfone Lite L1 is priced at Rs 6,999 and takes on the likes of Realme C1 and Xiaomi Redmi 5.

Diving into the specifications, Asus Zenfone

 Max M1 flaunts 5.45-inch HD+ display with 2.5D curved glass on top and offers 82% screen-to-body ratio, measures 147.3mm*70.9mm*8.7mm and weighs 150 grams. The smartphones is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

There’s a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB. However, the device is backed by 4000mAh battery.

Talking about the optics, the Zenfone Max M1 has 13MP shooter on the rear side with f/2.0 aperture, 4P lens, 1.12um, PDAF and LED flash. On the front, the device has an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash.

Camera app includes modes such as Auto, Beauty, Pro, Panorama, Time Lapse, Portrait and HDR. On the whole, the phone is backed by 4000mAh battery with support for face unlock functionality. As for the connectivity options, it comes with no Dual 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro USB Port. Futhermore, Fingerprint scanner is present on the rear side of the smartphone.

The smartphones features a 5.45-inch HD+ display, but it lacks the 2.5D curved glass. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Storage can be further extended with the help of a dedicated microSD card slot. Optics include, 13 mega pixel shooter on the back and 5 mega pixel selfie camera on the front.

As For the connectivity options, the Lite L1 includes 4G LTE (no Dual 4G again), VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS a Micro USB port, and offers Accelerometer, E-Compass, Proximity and Ambient light sensors. However Lite L1 smartphones doesn’t come with fingerprint scanner but has the Face Unlock feature.

The devices will be available in one variant, but in two colour options – Black and Gold. The Asus Zenfone Lite L1 has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage priced at Rs 5,999. while the Zenfone Max M1 has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage will be available at Rs 8,999.

Both the smartphones will be available via e-commerce giant Flipkart. In addition, Asus is associated with telecom operator Reliance Jio to offer Rs 2,200 cashback and 50GB of additional data to the users.

Cashback will only be credit, when users insert Jio 4G SIM card in the smartphone and recharging with either the Rs 198 or Rs 299 prepaid plans. The company is also offering Complete Mobile Protection scheme

Earlier, the Taiwanese based company launched Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1. This smartphone features, 5.99-inch Full HD+ display on the front with 18:9 aspect ratio.

The phone packs with Qualcomm snapdragon 636 chipset, paired with 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. Storage can be further extended with a miceroSD card up to 128GB. and the smartphone boots on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Talking about the optics, Zenfone Max Pro M1 has dual camera setup on the rear side. This smartphones comes in two variants and both variants have different optics, the 6GB RAM/64GB storage features a 16MP front camera with dual rear cameras of a 16MP primary sensor and 5MP secondary sensor.

The other variants- 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage features an 8MP front-facing camera and dual rear cameras of 13MP + 5MP. Lastly, the smartphone is backed by beefy 5000mAh battery.

    430 chipset is so old, was released in 2016…

    I wonder how people still buy these phones..
