Step 1: Open this link of Google Passkey on the web browser of your smartphone or computer.

Step 2: Enter your Gmail id and password if asked.

Step 3: Once you’re logged in, you’ll see your automatically generated passkey because Android devices automatically create passkeys for you when you sign in to your Google Account. 

Step 4: Now click on the Use Passkey button.

Step 5: After clicking on the button, You’ll see a confirmation message that says passkey enabled.

You can now use passkeys to sign in to your Google accounts on any device that supports them.

How to set up Google Passkeys? – Method 2

Step 1: Open the Google app on your Android device.

Step 2: Tap on your profile picture located in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Select “Manage your Google Account.”

Step 4: Open the “Security” tab, and select “Password & sign-in method.”

Step 5: Scroll down to the “Security settings” section and click on “2-Step Verification.”

Step 5: Now if you have not set up the 2-Step Verification then it will ask you to set up that first.

Step 6: Now you need to enter your password to continue. Once done, tap “Get Started.”

Step 7: Now you will see an option to set up Google Passkeys, select the option to add a security key.

Step 8: Now follow the steps given on your screen to set up your security key.

Once you’ve set up your security key, you can use it to sign in to your Google account without entering your password.
