Huawei Y5 Lite Android Go Smartphone With IPS Display Launched, The Chinese multinational company Huawei Technologies Co, Ltd launched a new entry level Android Go smartphone dubbed as Huawei Y5 Lite. This is the second Android Go Smartphone from the company, the first Go smartphone was launched last year in May 2018 and is dubbed as Huawei Y3 (2018).

Key highlights of the smartphone are 18:9 aspect ratio, 8 megapixel rear camera sensor,  MediaTek MT 6739 SoC, 1 GB of RAM, 5.45 inch HD+ IPS Full view display, Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition), 16 GB of inbuilt storage, Bluetooth v 4.2, 3.5 mm headphone jack, Micro USB Port, 5 mega pixel front camera sensor, and so on.

Talking about the details, The Huawei Y5 Lite Android Go smartphone features 5.45 inch HD+ IPS FullView Display panel with a resolution of 720 pixels x 1440 pixels, 295 ppi pixel density, an 18:9 aspect ratio, 76.7 cm2 (~73.8% screen to body ratio) measure 146.5 x 70.9 x 8.3 mm and weighs about 149 grams.

Under the hood, the Android Go smartphone comes with a quad core MediaTek MT6739 System on Chipset, paired with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of onboard storage. Storage can be further extended with a via microSD card up to 256 GB.

Coming on the camera details, The handset sports single rear camera setup at the back panel that includes a 8 mega pixel camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture, panorama mode, autofocus (phase detection autofocus) and accompanied with single LED flash. On the front of the smartphone, there is a  5 mega pixel front camera sensor along with f/2.2 aperture, and support to Selfie Toning feature.

As for the connectivity options, the device includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v 4.2, GPS / A GPS, Micro USB port, dual SIM (Nano), Wifi hotspot, FM radio, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Sensor on the board includes accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor. For power purpose, the smartphone packs a 3,020 mAh battery unit with no support for fast charging.

The Huawei Y5 Lite Android Go Smartphone comes in a single 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage variant priced at PKR 16,499 (around Rs. 8,200). At the moment, the Android Go device is available in Pakistan and available for purchase in Blue and Black colour options.

Huawei has not announced this smartphone globally, but it is likely to arrive in emerging markets such as India and Indonesia in the upcoming months. Probably Huawei set lower price of the smartphone in India for the reason that, at Rs 8,200 there are better smartphone in indian market.

The Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) boots EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and flaunts 6.26 inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 720 pixels x 1520 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, measures 158.92 x 76.91 x 8.1 mm, and it weighs about 168 grams. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, and paired with an Adreno 506 GPU and 3 GB of RAM.

Storage of the smartphone is 32 GB which can be expanded with dedicated microSD card slot up to 512 GB. The handset comes in a single 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage variant priced at VND 39,90,000 (around Rs. 11,900) and will be available in Aurora Blue and Black colour options.
