Nokia 3310 4G “Feature Phone” Launched! Specifications And Features

Earlier, there were rumors around that Nokia is working on a 4G Feature Phone with its upcoming flagship Nokia 9. The Two 4G feature phones were spotted on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) site. The models were Nokia A-1047 and TA-1060. One of this was guessed to come with a QWERTY keyboard just like Nokia E72 with 4G Components and the other one from the series 30+ Feature YunOS which earlier we saw on the revamped Nokia 3310 (2017), but now it is with 4G ability.

Finally, now Nokia 3310 4G Variant is launched in China.HMD Global has kept 3310 4G on the official website of Nokia and is a partner with China Mobile. Now, the question is when will it be globally launched? As we know, there is an event MWC 2018 in Barcelona everything will be announced there. Price, availability of the device around the world and everything will be announced at MWC 2018.

Nokia 3310 4G is in two colors, Deep Black and Fresh Blue. The earlier variant of the phone had four colors. The other difference between the new 4G and 2G version is the OS. The older version runs on Nokia Series 30+ OS and 3G runs on Java-based OS. And the new 4G variant runs on YunOS, which is built by Alibaba from China.

The YunOS-based Nokia 3310 4G has a display of  2.4-inch  color display with a resolution of 320 x 240 px. The 4G variant has an onboard storage of 512MB and 256MB RAM. The internal storage can be expanded up to 64GB through memory card.

Now, the 4G variant of Nokia 3310 is confirmed. Last year Nokia brought 3G Nokia 3310 phone in the market. Now, Nokia is all set to launch its 4G Variant of Nokia 3310. The 4G version of the phone has been passed through the TENAA site. The phone will also launch in Europe and Asia.

Now, the new Nokia 3310 will support 4G LTE bands. All the bands are Band 38, Band 39, Band 40, and Band 41. And it will also support the standards GSM bands, TD-LTE and TD-SCDMA.

As per the news on TENAA, the 4G variant of Nokia 3310 will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core chipset processors. Nokia 3310 4G will have 256 MB of RAM and an internal storage of 512MB. The storage can be expanded through Memory card up to 128GB.

It will have 4G connectivity, apart from that the device will have the same design attractive as the original classic model and will have the same body as last year variant.

Nokia 3310 4G will have a display of 2.4 inch TFT non-touch screen with a resolution of 240×320 pixels. The feature phone will have a single 2MP camera. The device is backed with 1200mAh unit, which is same to Nokia 3310

The new Nokia 3310 4G has a change in Operating System. The phone will run on the new updated YunOS 5.2.0. This is found on the Android-based mobile OS which is developed by China’s Alibaba.

The YunOS have the ability to run few apps like a less extreme version of WhatsApp. Nokia is also working on the feature phone version of the app which is based on YunOS.

Availability

However, still, there is no confirmation on the launch of the Nokia 3310 4G  phone. Even after it is guessed to happen at the HMD Global Event which is going to be held in China on 19th January. Even the other flagship and phones from HMD are expected to be launch at the same event. Devices like Nokia 9, Nokia 8 (2018), and Nokia 6 (2018) are expected to launch.

Just like last Year when HMD launched the refreshed Nokia 3310 at MWC in Barcelona even this year Nokia 3310 (4G) could be launched globally at MWC 2018.
