The PKL Season 9 Auction dates have been released.
Mashal Sports, the organization behind the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), has finally confirmed the dates, thus PKL Season 9 will soon return.
The PKL Season 9 auction is scheduled to take place in Mumbai on August 5 and 6, 2022.
Shocking Updates before Mega PKL 2022 Auction
- There will be 500+ players participating in this auction, including domestic, international, and new young players.
- At the auction, Pawan Sehrawat, Siddharth Desai and Pardeep Narwal will be under hammered.

Pro Kabaddi League 2022 Auction Date & Price Bands
The dates for the Pro Kabaddi 2022 Auction have been announced, and the mega season auction will take place on the 5th and 6th of August.
Furthermore, this next weekend will be a major event with several well-known kabaddi players in auction. Most intriguing, over 500 players, including NYP stars, will be up for auction.
There will be four categories created from the Domestic, Overseas, and New Young Players (NYPs): A, B, C, and D. Within each category, the players will be again classified into “All-Rounders,” “Defenders,” and “Raiders.”
The starting costs for every category in Pro Kabaddi Auction 2022 are as follows:

PKL Auction Season 9 Key Details
The 24 players from the 2 best teams at the Bangalore-based Khelo India University Games in 2021 will be among the over 500+ participants in the PKL season 9 auction 2022.
In front of the vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 9 Player Auction, all 12 teams have maintained a total of 19 Elite Retained Players, 38 Existing New Young Players (NYPs), and 13 Retained Young Players (RYP).
This year, 41 New Young Players (NYPs) have received nominations from franchisees.
Here are some details about the Auction:
- 12 teams would each receive 4.4 crore for the auction. Nevertheless, it could be reduced based on the PKL Season 9 retained players list.
- There can be a total of 18 to 25 players in each squad.
- The league has decided that teams may keep up to 6 top players from each category while adding up to 4 new young players (NYP).
