Samsung and LG were trying hard to bring the first foldable smartphone. And now, finally, the world’s first foldable smartphone is ready and will soon come in the market. As per the reports on The Korea Herald, at CES 2018 event Samsung has announced its first foldable smartphone to all the private audience. The event was held on January 10th in Las Vegas.

On condition, an industry source said, the foldable smartphone has 7.3-inch foldable panel and it is planning to start the production later in this year. So, basically, the smartphone will have 7.3 inches OLED foldable display.
Another source says that the making of the foldable smartphone is almost done and soon will be launched. The new Samsung foldable device will come in two version, the infolding, and the outfolding.
The outfolding version will have less curvature rate compared to the infolding type. Then also, the outfolding type is appraised a more advanced next-generation technology because of its durability issue.
It is expected that Samsung will adopt the production of infolding type first in early November this year.
At the CES 2018, not only Samsung but also other smartphone makers are going to reveal their own foldable devices in the market.
There are few other rumors about the upcoming smartphone by Samsung. It is said that the device will be known as “Samsung Galaxy X” which has gone through the Bluetooth certification.
