Vivo is Rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo Update in Seven Smartphones, Vivo a Chinese technology company founded by Morgan Moore in 2009. As per the Recent report Vivo will Release Android 8.0 Oreo-based FunTouch OS update to seven Vivo smartphones soon. Vivo smartphones such as Vivo X20, X20 Plus, X9s, X9s Plus, Xplay 6, X9 and X9 Plus would receive the Oreo update in the upcoming months. The brand did’t uncovered exact time frame for the release. However, The brand will first release Beta update for Vivo X20.

According to the report, The brand confirmed this news on its Chinese forums page. As we all know Vivo is well known smartphone brand for not providing software updates for their already launched smartphones.

One of the Famous and well known Vivo Android skin known as FunTouch OS will be available soon for these seven listed smartphones. If you purchased Vivo smartphone in 2016 then don’t wait for any software update, Vivo will only provide update for 2017 devices.

Talking about other Brands, Other Big smartphone brands such as the Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, OnePlus, etc have already updated their flagship, mid-range smartphones atleast once.

Earlier today, The brand released the world’s first phone with in-display fingerprint scanner called X20 Plus UD. The company is all set to release its next flagship Android smartphone, named Xplay 7, which could be one of most impressive smartphones this year as per the leaked speifications.


The presentation reports suggest the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s top-range Snapdragon 845 mobile chipset. And the CPU is said to be paired with 10GB RAM and 512GB of storage. The Xplay 7 is also said to flaunt a 4K OLED display, and the device would pack a full-screen display design with ultra thin bezels
