Eligibility Criteria For BSCC Scheme

• The Applicant should be a resident of Bihar.
• Their age should be below 25 years.
• They should be successfully completed the 12th standard.
• They are required to complete the full duration of the course.
• They should be enrolled or have been selected for admission to a higher education institution recognized by a state to central government.

• They must not be receiving any allowance, scholarship, student credit card, education loan, or any kind of assistance.

Documents Required to Apply For Bihar Student Credit Card

• Filled Common Application Form.
• Aadhaar Card
• Xth and X11th marksheet & certificate
• Copies of the letter conferring the scholarship. (if available)
• Bank passbook including branch name, account number, and IFSC code.
• Proof of enrollment with the course duration.
• Statement of course fees.
• Two passport-size photographs.

How to Apply for Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme?

• First of all, students need to visit the MNSSBY Website by clicking on this link:

• On the homepage of the website, you will find a New Applicant Registration form or a login option. Click on it to get the username name password.

• Then, fill out all the required details such as name, email ID, mobile number, Aadhar number, OTP, and then click on the Submit button.
• You have to select the ‘Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme‘ or ‘BSCC‘ option from the drop-down list and click on Apply, as shown below.

• Remember, you need to select one more option of your preferred choice, an Admission through Management Quota/ Admission through Entrance Exam/Admission through Counseling or Other.
• After the successful registration, the applicants will receive their username and password through email and SMS.
• Once you have received the username and passwords, visit the 7nishchay Bihar website to log in again with your username and password.

Note: You need to change your password.

• Once you log in successfully, it will redirect you to the Bihar Student Credit Card Application Form.

• Then, fill out all the required personal details as asked in the form. Such as Matric/10th Board, Roll Number, School Code, Year of Passing, School Name.
• Then, same as 10th grade, fill in your 12th-grade details, and then if you passed your graduation, fill in your details also.

• Remeber the age limit to fill this form is a maximum of 25 years.
• At last you need to fill out your personal details such as your name, father’s name, mother’s name, address, merit, category, Bank account number, Bank name, IFSC, and Branch name.
• After filling out all the necessary details, you need to click on the Save As Draft option.
• After clicking on Save as Draft, all your details will be saved, and then click on Submit.

• After clicking on submit, you will be asked to upload documents. You need to upload your required document and click on Submit again.
• Once you successfully submit and upload all your documents, a confirmation message and the acknowledgement number will be displayed on your screen. You need to download the PDF of the application form.
• After this, the respective District Registration and Counseling Center (DRCC) will schedule an appointment and send an email and SMS to inform the applicant about the date of the visit to DRCC.
• The applicant should visit the DRCC with self-attested documents and submit them to the Multi-Purpose Assistant (MPA) for verification.
• Once the verification is completed by the authorities, and the loan is sanctioned by the bank, the DRCC will send an SMS and email to the applicant informing the date of applicationshould visit the DRCC to collect the ‘Student Credit Card‘ and the sanction letter of the loan.
• Then the applicant should visit the bank to complete the documentation formalities after collecting the ‘Student Credit Card’ and the bank’s sanction letter from the DRCC.
• At last, the applicant receives the loan disbursement from the bank, and bank officials will inform same to the DRCC.
