ICR Plan Activation & Coverage Details
According to Jio BSNL ICR Terms & Conditions, these ICR plan recharges will function only when your device connects to the BSNL network.
These ICR packs can be available to use within the Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh circle, aimed at providing seamless connectivity in regions with limited Jio network availability.
The ICR Plans will remain in a queued status after recharge. These plans will be automatically activated upon the first usage of any voice, SMS, or data service. Once activated, the plan will remain valid for its defined validity period.
Note: Only customers with an active ICR pack can use the BSNL networks. However, in an emergency ICR situation, usage may be allowed from the customer’s existing active plan balance.
Jio BSNL ICR Service Drawbacks
- Usage on the Jio network is outside the scope of these recharges.
- Use of any other operator, including Airtel or Vi, is not allowed.
- Only customers with an active ICR pack can connect to the BSNL network.

Major Step Towards Testing ICR Between Jio & BSNL
Neeraj Mittal, Secretary (Telecom), and DCC Chairman, inspected a 4G saturation site in the village, Ummed, Rajasthan, marking a key step towards connecting and unconnected.
The seamless Intra-Circle-Roaming between BSNL and Reliance Jio was successfully tested during the visit, marking a significant step towards expanding mobile connectivity in remote and rural areas through shared infrastructure. Subscribers are allowed to connect to another network through an ICR agreement.
Villagers thanked the Department of Telecommunications and BSNL for BSNL 4G access, as Vikram Malviya, CGMT BSNL Rajasthan, outlined steps to boost rural and last-mile connectivity.
