BSNL Offers 2GB Data Per Day At Rs 79, Under 1st MVNO Service Of India!
From the time Reliance Jio has entered the telecom market all the other telecom operators have gone back. In last few months, Jio has targeted India’s rural belt with the voice and data plans and also brought super Jio Phone scheme.
No other operator can beat Jio but there is BSNL who aims to damage the Jio plans as they have brought MVNO Service.

BSNL Offers 2GB/Day For Rs 79
BSNL has launched the cheapest plan of Rs. 29 per month and it clearly shows that it is the Cheapest plan ever. Now, first let us know what actually MVNO is and how it works?
MVNO Service Is India’s first Service and is Now Live!
MVNO Service Mobile Virtual Network Operator is launched by BSNL and is India’s first MVNO service.
A mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) is a mobile operator that does not own spectrum or have its own network infrastructure. An MVNO has business arrangements with traditional mobile operators to buy network time, which it then sells to its own customers.
BSNL has done a partnership with Plintron and Aerovoyce. Aerovoyce is a licensed holder of MVNO Service from Chennai which is owned by AdPay Mobile payment. And Plintron is global MNC specializing in giving mobility services.
The target for BSNL’s MVNO Service is rural areas where the mobile connectivity is not there. Earlier in 2016, the pilot project of MVNO services was launched.
So, under this MVNO service, BSNL has brought two cheapest plans of Rs. 29 and Rs. 79.
The plan of Rs. 29 offers unlimited calling between Aerovoyce users. And the plan of Rs. 79 gives unlimited calling with 2GB data per day per month. So, we can clearly say that this is the cheapest data plan from any telecom service provider.
Sivakumar, the founder and chief executive of AeroVoyce said, “Our focus areas will be rural, tier-II and tier-III cities to bring best affordable services in sync with the Digital India initiative.”
How Will It Work?
Under MVNO service, any service provider can offer mobile services without buying the telecom infrastructure like towers and optical fiber network. The service provider uses the host network’s infrastructure and then they can resell the services with their own offers and plans.
Aerovoyce will use BSNL’s network and will offer their mobile connectivity plans to rural areas with their brand name. BSNL guesses that the MVNO service is Rs. 2800 crore and from MVNO services in one year they are expecting income of Rs. 600 crore+.
The BSNL satellite telephony services are hit as they sold more than 4000 satellite phones in one year. Most of the clients were of Border Security Force (BSF), ONGC, disaster management agencies, and Railways. Their aim is to sell 10,000 units till March 2019.
